We are almost a week away from HoodieBuddie's In Your Hood: HoodieCollab kick-off party in Venice Beach on November 4, and today we look at the first collaborative artist in the series, Skinner. HoodieBuddie recently visited Skinner's studio to see what inspires the Sacramento-based artist. This is a picture documentation of Kristie and I's life changing trip to Cuba...The most incredible and ideal place I have been...socially as well as environmentally...I will never forget the way that it opened my eyes to how a country, place or family can really be without the harmful social and emotional conditioning of an overworked population like the people of the United States have to endure...I felt nothing but warmth and kindness from the people of Cuba and an absolute immediate love and closeness to the friends and family we made there...The people of Cuba are happy with what they do have...the small moments and resources that they share with each other...the small things matter very much and are special..
